Australia Business - Investor Visa Classes

Investor (Provisional) is for investors/business people who have an overall successful record of business or investment activities, have significant net assets, are willing to invest funds in a designated investment in Australia for four years and have a genuine commitment to maintain business and investment activity in Australia.

891 - Investor (Residence)

After holding a Business Skills Investor (Provisional) visa an Investor can then apply for one of the following permanent visa categories providing you meet all the requirements:

165 - State/Territory Sponsored Investor (Provisional)
Investor (Provisional) is for investors/business people who have an overall successful record of business or investment activities, have significant net assets, are willing to invest funds in a designated investment in Australia for four years and have a genuine commitment to maintain business and investment activity in Australia. Applicants in this category may be sponsored by a state/territory government.

893 - State/Territory Sponsored Investor (Residence)

After holding a Business Skills State Territory Sponsored Investor (Provisional) visa you can then apply for a permanent visa providing you meet all the requirements. Applicants in this category must be sponsored by a state/territory government.

New Zealand - New Zealand delays updated skills shortage list

The revised Essential Skills in Demand Lists, which include the Long Term Skill Shortage List and the Immediate Skill Shortage List were scheduled to come into effect on 01 December 2008. It is now expected that the updated lists will not come into effect until 03 March 2009. Read more >
