CANADA STUDENT VISA
Update 28 March 2010 on English (IELTS) requirments both for SPP Students and General Canada Student Visa Students - Canadian High Commission and Consulate General in India will reject any student visa application including General Student, University Student or applying under SPP which does not include IELTS or has in valid IELTS less then overall 6.0 bands.This has come into effective from applications being submitted from May 2010 onwards.SPP (Student Partners Program): The provinces regulate education and schools in Canada. Canada immigration has started a SPP (Student Partners Program) exclusively for India and China. From year 2011 the no. of Colleges participating in this program has increased to 43 colleges. This SPP program is only limited to these 43 Colleges.

Benifits of SSP - Student has to only show 1 year living expences and 1 year tution fee, where 80% of the amount has to be in the form of LOAN. But if you application is refused the you can not refile under SPP program again. You can apply under General Student Canada. So students it one chance you have please fullfill all the requirments and then file your application. For Post Diploma and Degree programs college requirments are 6.5 Overall not 6.0. This SPP program is to attract students for Post Secondary studies mostly. Gap of more the 2-3 years are considered negative by the visa officers.
General Student Visa OR NON-SPP program : We can also assist you in getting admission in following colleges and universities in Canada or any college of your desire. From May 2011 onward there is no IELTS band requirment but it is still recommended that you should submit IELTS certificate as per the college English requirments atleat.
