Australia - Partner/Spouse (Family) Visa

If you are in a relationship with an Australian citizen or and Australian permanent resident then they may be able to sponsor you to migrate to Australia.
There are 3 main visa options:

1. Prospective Marriage visa for people intending to get married

2. Spouse visa for partners who are married or in a de facto (common-law) relationship

3. Interdependent visa for interdependent partners (including those in a same-sex relationship)

New Zealand - New Zealand delays updated skills shortage list

The revised Essential Skills in Demand Lists, which include the Long Term Skill Shortage List and the Immediate Skill Shortage List were scheduled to come into effect on 01 December 2008. It is now expected that the updated lists will not come into effect until 03 March 2009. Read more >
