300 - Fiancé Visa
This temporary visa is for a prospective marriage and allows you to come to Australia and marry your intended spouse. You will have a period of 9 months in which to get married. During these 9 months you have the right to travel and work.
There is no points test for this visa.Main Criteria
The main criteria for this visa are;

- Your fiancé (e) must be either an Australian citizen, an Australian permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizen.

- You must be able to legally marry according to Australian law i.e. you are both aged 18 or over, and not married to anyone else.

- You must be of the opposite sex to your intended spouse

- You must have met each other personally as adults (even if it is an arranged marriage).

- You must be in an exclusive, genuine and continuing relationship.

- You have a genuine intention to marry in Australia and live together as husband and wife.

- You must meet health and character requirements.

- You may need to provide an Assurance of Support.
