NewZealand - Requirements for a business plan
To be eligible under their Long Term Business Category you’ll need to complete the application form of business plan including completing a business plan, which they use to determine that:- - you have enough money to establish your proposed business in New Zealand and to support you and any family with you
- - that your financial forecasts are realistic
- - you have relevant business experience, including your qualifications, existing businesses, shareholdings
- - you’ve not been involved with a business failure within the last five years
- - you’ve not been involved in business fraud or wrongdoing
- - you’ve obtained occupational registration in New Zealand, where this is required for your business.
Evidence of funds
To be eligible under their Long Term Business Category they need to see that you have enough funds to support yourself and any family coming with you for the length of your Work Permit.These funds will cover your living costs and are in addition to the funds you’ll use to invest in your business.
The evidence they’ll look for includes:
- - sufficient cash
- - a sufficient balance of funds in a New Zealand bank account
- - sufficient travellers’ cheques
- - sufficient bank drafts
- - recognized credit cards with sufficient credit available.
